A native of Sugar Grove, Illinois, Karen earned her bachelor’s degree at University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and her MBA from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Business School. She has lived in the downtown area for ten years, and she puts a priority on gaining expertise in the city’s and suburbs’ diverse housing markets by doing quick, thorough research into the neighborhood’s schools, transportation, nightlife, and other features.
