Instead of having plants taking up ground space, hang them from a macramé holder or something that hangs on the wall.

3. Relax In A Hammock

If you think chairs take up too much space, hang a hammock. When you are not using it, it can easily be taken down.

4. L-Shaped Sofa/Loveseat

Get a small sofa or loveseat that fits the corner of your balcony instead of having a large one in the middle of your balcony.

5. Add An Outdoor Carpet

A carpet can make any room, inside and out, appear bigger than it really is. It also adds nice colour.

6. Small Planter Boxes

If you are a gardener or into growing fresh herbs on your balcony, have a planter box that you can grow a couple rows of seeds in instead of multiple pots.

7. Benches Instead Of Sofas

If you need extra storage space, get a bench that opens up instead of buying a bulky sofa.

8. Small Round Tables

Round tables often make a space look larger than a square one. It can also fit easily into a corner to use for eating, or as a coffee table.

9. Folding Chairs

If you are not into sofas, loveseats, or benches, buy folding chairs that can easily be moved out of the way when not in use. Reclining chairs often fold up to easily move out of the way, and are super comfy too!
